Rose Petal and Hibiscus Refresher

This is a refreshing and feminine blend I enjoy every spring and even into summer.
Rose is known as the queen of flowers and I believe women don’t utilize its properties enough! You can look up the physical benefits of rose but for me the energy of it is about pulling women into their deep feminine reign as queens, no matter what our age is. Hibiscus is a bit tangy and adds a beautiful pink hue to the drink. Hibiscus also has wonderful health benefits but frankly I just love the taste and the pretty color it makes this refresher.
⅔ cup of dried organic rose petals
⅓ cup of dried hibiscus flower petals
3 cups hot water
3 cups room temperature water
Sparkling water (optional)
Cut fresh mint (optional)
Lime wedges (optional)
Place petals in a large glass jar and add the cold water first. Next add the boiled water. Let the blend sit for at least an hour on the counter top (with a loose lid or cloth on the jar). Refrigerate to use through the week.
You will need a strainer to put over your glass when you’re ready to drink. The longer it sits the more concentrated it becomes. I like to add sparkling water to it once I pour it into my glass and fresh mint and/or lime wedges when I’m ready to consume it as an extra level of refreshment. Throw a few rose and hibiscus petals on top to add to the beauty appeal and enjoy!
